About Our Bells...

Our African bells come from Guinea, Mali, Ghana and Togo. They are consistent in quality, yet individual in sound. We have been importing these bells for years, to meet the constant demand from both customers and pros. They add dimension to any type of music.

Our Dunun bells come from Guinea...and are the real deal! We also import Kessing-Kessing from Guinea, but have also begun to fabricate our very own, "Rhythm Traders" kessing-kessing. Ours are stronger and more melodic than those from Africa and stamped out with our logo. They make super gifts for the djembe players in your life!

  • African Rhythm Traders' Kessing-kessing are fabricated in the US from mirror-finished stainless steel.
  • They are 8.25 " tall, laser cut with our logo, and welded to the stem.
  • Much stronger and more melodic than many of those made in Africa.
  • Sold individually, or as a set of 3 Kessing-kessing.
  • Our Kessing-kessing are the best available!
  • *Note: There is a slight discoloration in the finish where the stem is welded.
