Our First "Master Series" Drum

What is a Professional Djembe Drum?

This "over the top" djembe drum has everything our Pro Series djembes have to offer and then, even more. We start with an absolutely perfect djembe shell from Guinea or Ivory Coast, router a smooth bearing edge, and hand-rub tung oil inside and out the drum. Our "Master Series" djembe drums come with rubber on the bottom, "Guinea-style" bottom loops, and a wet-shaved, hand selected goat skin. Each drum is custom built to YOUR specifications. Our djembe drum here is shown with optional kessing-kessing, djembe rope wrap, and metal embellishments.

About Our "Master Series" Djembes:
Each Master Series Drum is built with precision and an attention to quality that makes us confident that they are the best you can buy. Our goal is to keep a few in the shop at all times, but we can't always guarantee they'll be in stock.

Of course, custom orders are glady taken.

We'll post finished drums here, click on the thumbnail to see a larger image. If you like it, go ahead and place your order and we'll be able to ship you
that EXACT drum.

If you find that we are currently sold out...check back, because we'll post the drum's specs and photo when we finish building it.

Custom Djembes....our "Master Series":

You may custom order a "Master Series" Djembe....The djembe drum shells are available in Iroko, Lenge, Hare (Balaphone Wood) and other fine hardwoods. The designs in the base are hand-carved in Africa and vary from shell to shell. When you place your order, on the order form at check-out, there will be a place to list your special preferences. Please specify any preferences you have there, such as goat skin thickness, and djembe rope color. We will try to honor your requests, if possible. Head diameters are approximate.
